2021.11.30 18:07 Anonymous_Bozo "Christmas Lights" Group

I'm trying to create a group to turn on and off all my various Christmas lights.
They are a mixture of Switches and Bulbs, so I created the following group:
```# Group the Christmas Lights
allchristmaslights:
name: All Christmas Lights
all: true
entities:
- switch.a_c
- switch.christmastree
- switch.mantle_lights_on_off
- light.ceramic_tree_level_light_color_on_off
- switch.china_hutch
```
Everything works fine from the UI. I can turn the group on and off at will. However if I ask Alexa to turn off the christmas lights, the only thing she turns off is the Christmas Tree. All the other lights remain on. Same thing for turning them on.
Is there something I don't understand about Groups?

Cryptocurrency is a form of payment that can be exchanged online for goods and services. Many companies have issued their own currencies, often called tokens, and these can be traded specifically for the good or service that the company provides. Think of them as you would arcade tokens or casino chips. You’ll need to exchange real currency for the cryptocurrency to access the good or service.
-
Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is a blockchain network built for running smart contract-based applications. BSC runs in parallel with Binance’s native Binance Chain (BC), which allows users to get the best of both worlds: the high transaction capacity of BC and the smart contract functionality of BSC
-
Cryptocurrencies work using a technology called blockchain. Blockchain is a decentralized technology spread across many computers that manages and records transactions. Part of the appeal of this technology is its security.

2021.11.30 18:07 PatriciaHarris_ Stablecoins: What Are They and How Do They Work?

Stablecoins are backed by stable assets like fiat currency or precious metals. Hence their values don't fluctuate much. The cryptocurrency market is known for its volatility. This means that the prices of coins can rise and plummet abruptly, which makes it difficult for investors to zero down on a particular coin. However, stablecoin solves this issue. Stablecoins are digital currencies that are backed by assets such as fiat currency, other cryptocurrencies, or gold. The stable assets make these coins less susceptible to fluctuations and keep their prices stable. Certain stablecoins also use a computer algorithm to keep their value comparatively stable.
Here's how stablecoins work:

  1. The advantage of stablecoins is that they are built to withstand volatility in a way that other cryptocurrencies aren't. Additionally, they can offer mobility and accessibility. It is a more stable cryptocurrency that is decentralized. This implies that is not tied to a centralized system or agency. This, in turn, grants it autonomy.
  2. There are several other reasons for stablecoins being popular among investors. It allows for faster transfer of money and provides privacy of financial data. Along with this, stablecoins also allows users to circumvent financial service fees.
  3. In several ways, stablecoins may not be like other crypto investments. They are designed to stay put in terms of value. This means that while they will not be a fall in value, it will not rise either. This can be understood by comparing the USD coin to the Bitcoin. Since its inception, the USD coin has hardly fluctuated from its $1 value. Bitcoin, on the other hand, has seen a large amount of fluctuation.
According to me, these are some of the top stable coin exchanges that you can check out: · xSigma Finance xSigma Finance is a decentralized stablecoin exchange that provides the cheapest transactions for customers and a mining platform for liquidity providers. On one side, customers can exchange their stablecoins at the best rate; on the other side, liquidity providers offer their stablecoins to earn rewards.
· Coinbase Coinbase is another great exchange that promotes the selling and buying of both cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. Coinbase was the first major crypto business to go public in the U.S. when it began trading at $381 in the very beginning on the Nasdaq, giving the cryptocurrency exchange an initial market cap of $99.6 billion on a fully diluted basis. · Gemini Gemini is a privately-owned exchange that allows users to buy, sell, trade, and securely store bitcoin, ether, and about 40 other cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. It was launched in 2015 by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss.
Gemini has a tiered service with separate interfaces and fee structures for casual investors and hard-core traders. It has a mobile app, a payment app, and its own currency, the Gemini dollar. Unlike most cryptocurrencies, the Gemini dollar is a "stable coin" tied to the U.S. dollar.
Have you held and investments in stable coins ever? Or do you use it for trading purposes only?

2021.11.30 18:07 Guitarjunkie1980 STL AmpHub Review: I spent last week playing this thing.

So I am the type of person that absolutely hates plugins. Mostly because they are complicated and by the time I have a tone setup, I have forgotten the riff that I wanted to record. Ive tried a bunch (only because it's my job) and I have never been really impressed.
Well, I guess that's changed now. STL has really made something awesome for metal with the AmpHub plugin. So I did a write up on it.

2021.11.30 18:07 Iman_S5 Is it a good idea to use Fiio BTR5 as a dac for my IEM while working out?

I'm happy with my IEM but the bluetooth module KZ AZ09 just died on me a few days ago. So I thought of buying the Fiio BTR5 as some kind of hitting 2 birds with one stone as a form of futureproofing for my openback headphones so I could use em wirelessly as well as using my IEM for the gym.
What are your thoughts?
