2021.10.23 02:13 yokesh351 How to plan and launch an ICO
We've been talking about the Initial Coin Offering (ICO) for years, but it hasn't been until recently that everything to do with cryptocurrencies has reached an astonishing dimension. ICOs are just one more aspect of cryptocurrencies, but very important, in the aspect of their birth.
What is an ICO? An ICO is more like a hybrid between crowdfunding and capital raising, it is the method used by developers of blockchain technology to raise funds for a new project. Currently, capital raising is done by pre-launching a new virtual currency, which is exchanged for an existing digital currency (such as bitcoin and ethereum). Once it is launched, the digital currency gives access to the development project. Also, if the project is successful, early investors will benefit from an increase in the value of the new currency.
Financing a cryptocurrency In the case of an ICO, what is going to be financed is the birth of a new cryptocurrency, in the style of Bitcoin or Ethereum. These are scarce virtual tokens, protected by cryptography, which have value due to their scarcity and demand. These virtual currencies are used both to make payments very economically and to store value, since there are markets where they are exchanged for real money.
Cryptocurrencies are created over time through a process called "mining." The "miners" make computing power available to the project, which allows the system to work and therefore receives prizes: both the "mined" coins that appear spontaneously and randomly and the commissions they receive when verifying the commercial transactions that occur between users of the currency.
When someone decides to create a new cryptocurrency, they first design it and then implement it through software. Finally, this software is made available to the community so that the miners who support its activity appear.
The developers conduct pre-mining behind closed doors and offer the new virtual currency in exchange for other currencies that are already in circulation, such as Bitcoin, and that are also exchangeable for real money in circulation. Therefore, an ICO development is to offer some initial investors the new coins in exchange for money. Hence its resemblance to an IPO, although it could also be said that it is very similar to crowdfunding, since it is a community of users that finances a project without intermediaries.
What are the advantages of an ICO? Being able to launch an ICO to finance a project has some advantages. The clearest thing is that the authors of the cryptocurrency do not have to obtain financing through the usual circuit (banks or venture capital investors) which is an advantageous condition. For individual investors, it also has an advantage: directly financing highly innovative companies. The usual channel of project financing is usually not available for private investors or only for very important capital. Of course, the reason this possibility does not exist is that there is typically a very high associated risk that banks and venture capital funds typically do not trade to retailers but to qualified investors (for both strategic and legal reasons).
Is it safe to participate in an ICO? Participating in an ICO leads to multiple risks. The first is that the project is not going well and the coins that are given in exchange for money are worth nothing. It's the typical risk you take when investing in a business project, so nothing new under the sun.
However, in ICOs there are other problems. For example, someone manages to steal all the money because the security of the cryptocurrency is not good enough. A recent case is that of DAO, where more than $ 150 million was stolen, money that investors lost. This risk is not negligible.
Another risk is that this type is outside the conventional financial system and the operation is not regulated. This does not please governments for several reasons: on the one hand, because they lose control of money and taxes; on the other, because these ICOs can be used for criminal activities (terrorist financing, for example).
Reason to create your own ICO Backup your ICO First of all, you must support your ICO with something: a physical good, a service, shares of a company, whatever. At this stage, you design the Whitepaper and Roadmap for your currency, which must be consistent with your project and must be followed to the letter to inspire confidence in investors. This support will be your fulcrum and your main "seller", as only this will attract or scare potential investors.
Design your brand Since you defined your support and therefore the target audience of the ICO, now you must give your ICO a name and an aesthetic logo. The highest capitalization currencies have attractive names and logos that can be easily identified.
Create the tokens One of the simplest ways is through Smart Contracts through the Ethereum and Counterparty platforms. You can also create tokens on the Bitcoin blockchain through the Counterparty platform.
Promote your currency You already have a nice coin with a striking name and an attractive logo, plus you have a good project behind it and you just need people to want to buy it. It is not enough to ensure the success of your ICO even though it is necessary. There are several very good projects that have almost no investment due to lack of publicity.
It is one important point to determine the future of your ICO which is the hardest job. You have to invest in paid ads, in a good website, in which the most popular YouTubers in the medium talk about your project, in campaigns on social networks, in bonuses for your affiliates, look for "whale" investors who give their public support and negotiate with the exchange houses to sell their currency, among many other activities. In short, it is a very arduous and expensive task. If you get it right, investors will come on their own.
Start your project He has already sold the tokens and his exICO now cryptocurrency is listed on different exchanges. What you must do at this stage is to follow exactly the actions that you detailed in your Whitepaper and in your Roadmap. You must fulfill each of the commitments you made with those who trusted your ICO and take care of the sustainability of your project and therefore of your currency.
Tips for Launching a Successful ICO Set achievable goals Campaigns, as we know, have their precise objectives, just like an ICO development. You are expected to make clear the objectives your project hopes to achieve in your whitepaper / roadmap. This tends to increase the confidence of potential investors if done correctly.
Make use of ICO tools A good and credible digital tool can be a game changer in your crowdselling campaign. There are several hundred ICO tools, but making the right choice is essential to achieve success in your ICO project. CIS is one of the main facilitators, helping emerging establishments in the areas of legal advice, technical solutions, among others.
Build a trusted team of professionals Without a doubt, when you run an ICO project with a team of trained and professional people, the chances of success are greater. With an experienced and empowered team at your side, potential investors can be easily won over, while also putting you in prime position to make a breakthrough.
On your website, it is advisable to include resumes and profiles of the people on your team. Emphasize your previous successful projects and make your ICO more open to scrutiny by adding your photos and links to social media accounts. Once investors have confidence in your team, collective selling will be automatic.
Secure your ICO In recent times, there has been an increase in hacking attempts on popular websites and crypto wallets. The theft of over $ 32 million from the Parity multisig wallet by hackers is still fresh in our memory and therefore securing your ICO is absolutely important. Hackers are likely to try all sorts of tricks to gain possession of investor funds, but with a safe ICO, you can successfully deal with this threat.
Create a public relations campaign Be aware that there is fierce competition, which could make it difficult for you to gain an advantage in the market. However, a good public relations strategy can act as a real boost. In this sense, social networks and blogs are the main battlefields. Your main goal will be to establish yourself as a leader in the industry, while also trying to attract potential investors to your project. Online communities are a great place that you can exploit to develop your ICO. Also, it would be great to hire a social influencer, as this can speed up the process of creating authority online.
In conclusion, cryptocurrencies have achieved great success in recent years and this has made ICO campaigns more popular than ever. With ICOs, companies have the opportunity to develop their branded products and make massive profits in a short period. However, success in ICO projects is no small thing and largely depends on an excellent and well thought out strategy. With proper preparation and coordination, your crypto-based project is sure to guarantee a satisfactory amount of investment.

2021.10.23 02:13 OddEntrepreneur9099 20 [M4F] Canada anyone down to be friends or more?
I’m 20 from Canada and in third year college, and about 5’7, brown hair, fit and pretty funny, I’m extroverted and talkative, it doesn’t take me long to get comfortable, I’m not jugdy at all, most of my jokes are dark humour. And I’d say I’m pretty attractive. . I’m into Anime, cars, jokes and fitness or any type of working out
I’m looking for someone just as outgoing as I am and talkative, not awkward and could talk about anything, and I want something long term and prefer people from Canada/Ontario but anywhere else is fine too.
Message me and maybe we can become bestfriends, don’t be dry or ghost, and send me an intro of yourself :).

2021.10.23 02:13 momomoments Wearing daily contact lenses for multiple uses.
Hi, I just started wearing contacts for the first time.
I just wanted them for work and school because of covid, wearing glasses and masks have become such a nuisance for me and it also gets in the way of work sometimes.
However, I prefer wearing glasses at home. For this, I usually only get 4-5 hours worth of wear on my contact lenses on a daily basis.
Could I possible use these contacts for multiple days as I’m not continually wearing them? I find it wasteful to discard lenses I barely used.

2021.10.23 02:13 lazyninja30 MOASS ONCE BIG BANK SECURES NET LONG POSITION IN GME
I was rewatching the big short for the 7th time, and I noticed something this time. When Michael Burry tried to reach Goldman to find out about his short positions, the chick at GS said the positions have not moved. Then he gets a call from the other GS employee that sold him the shorts, stating his shorts are now in the green. MB said something interesting regarding GS securing a net short position for themselves. So once GS secured the net short position, they were marked properly. I feel this could be the case for why MOASS is being delayed. Some very large institution/s is/are trying to find a way to secure a net long position in GME to counteract the detrimental impact of a net short position on GME. Any thoughts?

2021.10.23 02:13 JewelsMinty I feel like a piece of shit because I can’t choose between my ex or my best friend. Please help.
I love them both very much, they mean the world to me. They both want to be more than just friends though. Also the only reason I broke up with my ex was to give time for myself for mental health break, since I struggle with a slew of problems. However, I feel like a bad person for not being able to choose. I still have romantic feelings for my ex but I’ve gained some feelings for my best friend too. I want to date my ex and still be friends with my best friend but I know my ex wouldn’t allow it since i’ve told him what’s going on. I still want them in my life. I feel like a real fuck up. What do I do?
TLDR; I can’t choose between my best friend or ex. What should I do?

2021.10.23 02:13 Moose33699 [Suggestion] Skytech Chronos vs Skytech Blaze 3.0 Intel Bundle
Hello. I’m new to PC gaming and have narrowed my search down to the Skytech Chronos and Blaze 3.0 bundle. I was set on getting the Chronos before I saw the bundle and now I can’t figure out if the bundle is a facade to hide any issues or if it’s actually worth spending the extra $300-400. Specs below:
SKU:ST-CHRONOSB-0176 CPU:AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core 3.9 GHz (4.7 GHz Max Boost) Case:Skytech Chronos, Black Edition w/ Front Mesh CPU Cooler:Wraith Prism Cooler Fans:4x Skytech ARGB, Dual Ring Fans Motherboard:B550M RAM:16GB DDR4 Gaming Memory 3200 MHz Graphics:Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 8GB Primary Hard Drive:1TB NVMe SSD Power Supply:650 Watt 80 Plus Gold Certified Networking:802.11 ac Operating System:Windows 10 Home, 64-bit Warranty:1-Year Parts, Labor & Shipping Support, Lifetime Technical Support Dimensions (H x W x D):20 x 21 x 13 Weight (lbs):30
Blaze 3.0 Intel Bundle $2299
SKU:ST-BLAZE3W-0281-SK CPU:Intel Core i7 11700K 8-Core 3.6 GHz (5.0 GHz Turbo) Case:Phantek Metallic Gear Neo Air, White CPU Cooler:240mm AIO Fans:3x Inwin Jupiter RGB 120mm Fans Motherboard:Z590 RAM:16GB DDR4 Gaming Memory 3600 MHz Graphics:Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB Primary Hard Drive:1TB NVMe SSD Power Supply:650 Watt 80 Plus Gold Networking:802.11 ac Operating System:Windows 10 Home, 64-bit Warranty:1-Year Parts, Labor & Shipping Support, Lifetime Technical Support Dimensions (H x W x D):18.3" x 7.8" 17.7" Weight (lbs):38.7
The bundle comes with a Gigabyte Gaming monitor (G27FC) with specs 27" VA 1500R Panel / 1920 x 1080 (FHD) / 165hz Refresh Rate / 1ms Response Time / 2 x HDMI 1.4 & 1 x Display Port 1.2; and a headset, keyboard, and mouse.
The bundle is not the selling point for me but if it’s attached to a great prebuilt then I’m not going to scoff at it. I’m just curious if the Blaze 3.0 is worth the increased price or if it’s the bundle that “saves” the price point. Also, I’m not convinced the 650W PSU is substantial enough for either build.
Again I’m very new but have done quite a bit of research lately yet I’m still indecisive on which would be the better deal.
